BERGAMASK perfume
Bergamask is a very bold fragrance. It is the embodiment of the concept of attraction and repulsion through the combination of two very different ingredients: Calabrian bergamot and musk. Citrusy and fresh notes for the first, and animal notes for the second. Although Bergamask opens with fresh and light notes, the evolution of the fragrance soon gives way to a play of more decisive and intense notes. It is a perfect mix between the smell released by the freshly cut bergamot peel and the intense smell of the skin that transpires.
Bergamask wants to be a modern Eau de Cologne and Gualtieri used Calabrian bergamot embellished with strong notes of musk to create a vigorous cologne with strong syllables. The concept of sweat plays an important role in the creation of this fragrance. Perspiration is the representation of what we are in a fixed moment in time: what we feel, what we eat, what we do with our body, what our habits are, how we move, if we move, etc. The skin that sweats is the first to reveal the sensations that the proximity of a certain person causes us. We would recognize our partner among a thousand by the smell of their skin. Sweat wears no mask, it can cause intense attraction or deep repulsion. No compromise is possible.
THE BOTTLE of Orto Parisi fragrances is inspired by an ancient flask, a container for liquids to quench thirst. For Gualtieri it was very important to have an appropriate and easy-to-handle bottle, which reflected the principle of “practicality” and “consistency”, therefore it was not too small and not too light. The label on the bottle is made of fine “savile row tweed” paper in a natural rope colour with an elegant herringbone pattern. The natural colour was chosen to reflect, once again, the sense of “practicality”; the herringbone pattern as an emblem of elegance
